Consignment

Pea Soup for Home designates a large part of the shop for consigned furniture. You will find an extensive collection of quality, name brand items. All items must be up to date and in good condition. It is solely up to the discretion of Pea Soup staff whether items will be accepted or not.

It's easy to become a Pea Soup for Home Consignor! We will set up an account for you. We price and sell your items, and once the item sells, 50% of the sales price goes into your account. You can use your account balance as store credit or you can request a check for the balance amount at any time.

• We accept quality pre-owned, and/or handmade furniture, home décor, jewelry, designer handbags and wallets, and outside items such as patio sets, chairs, décor.

• When deciding what to accept we consider style, demand, function, condition, and how well we think the items will sell in our market. All items must be clean, to include no dust, mirrors free of streaks/fingerprints. All lamps must have working light bulbs.

• We accept drop offs for small items, such as décor, pictures, small furniture, at any time. For larger furniture pieces, we ask that you email a picture for approval prior to dropping them off. Final intake and pricing decisions happen on site after merchandise has been inspected in person. (peasoupforhome@gmail.com)

• Once the item sells, the Consignor will receive 50% of the sale. We keep the items for a minimum of 30 days and maximum of 90 days. Markdowns are 15% after 30 days, 30% after 60 days, and 45% after 90 days.

• Payment is in the form of store credit and/or a check that are given out on Friday upon request.

• We do not accept bedding and linens, window treatments, glassware, dishes, china, kitchen appliances, picture frames, chipped or damaged items, and bathroom items.
